I liked the place overall and the food was good, but the prices felt higher than I expected for what you get. That said, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, so it wasn’t a bad experience by any means.

I booked our Sydney Zoo tickets online and it was really simple. The website loaded quickly, I could choose the exact date we wanted without any confusion, and the checkout process was easy to follow. After paying, the tickets arrived in my email almost straight away, which was great because I didn’t have to chase anything up. I also liked that the ticket details and entry instructions were clear. When we got to the gate, they just scanned the tickets from my phone and we walked straight in. Super quick and no hassle at all.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food at Sydney Zoo. The coffee was good, the chips came out hot, and the kids were happy with their meals, which is always a win. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but you kind of expect that at a place like this. I asked one of the staff about meal options and they were basically like, “Yep, these are the popular ones for kids,” which was helpful enough. Overall, I’d eat there again on another zoo day.

Went to Sydney Zoo over the weekend the parking was way easier than I thought it’d be. There were plenty of spots close by, and getting out afterwards was quick too. I was expecting it to be a bit chaotic, which would’ve been annoying, not that it was a huge deal or anything, just something I usually stress about. Overall it made the whole visit feel a lot more relaxed.

Took my kids to Sydney Zoo we had a really good time. The animal info was great. Not too heavy. Not boring. Just simple enough that the kids actually paid attention. I liked that they talked about conservation too, and why looking after wildlife matters. Nice mix of fun and learning. Felt like we came home with more than just photos.

I visited with my mum, who uses a wheelchair, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. Some of the paths were fine, but a few of the slopes felt too steep for comfort, and we ended up having to take the long way round more than once. The accessible toilets weren’t always easy to find either, and I do think the signage should be clearer. The staff were friendly whenever we asked for help, which I appreciated, but my personal standard for a newer zoo is that accessibility should feel more straightforward without needing to keep asking. We still managed to see animals and have some nice moments, but the day was more tiring than it should have been.

I had a good time at the zoo overall, but uh, if you’re going on a hot day, just know there isn’t a ton of shade in some of the walking areas. There were a few covered spots that helped, but it also didn’t seem like there’d be much protection if it started raining. I’d still go again, just definitely check the weather before heading out

I mostly went for the keeper talks and shows, and they were sorta mixed for me. A few were really interesting, especially when the staff took questions and shared extra details, but some felt a bit rushed and were hard to hear. The timing between talks was kinda awkward too. Overall, it was still a nice day out, I just sorta expected a little more from the talks

We had a nice time at the zoo overall, honestly. The animals were great, the place was easy enough to get around, and for the most part it was a good day out. But then you go to use the toilets and suddenly it’s like, really? Some were totally fine, but others had no toilet paper and smelled awful. For somewhere that busy, I’d expect them to be checked more often. Not the end of the world, but it definitely needs more attention.

The signs were really clear, and the maps helped a lot. Because everything was easy to follow, we didn’t get lost at all, even with the kids running ahead the whole time

We headed to Sydney Zoo thinking we’d just have a quick wander around, but it ended up being way more of a full day out than we expected. Every time we thought we’d seen most of it, we’d turn a corner and there’d be something else — tigers, elephants, reptiles, and plenty of Aussie animals too. It was really nice not feeling like we’d finished the whole place in 20 minutes. The zoo was easy to walk around, had a good mix of animals, and just made for a really enjoyable day. I’d definitely go again.

Overall, it was good, but a bit basic. It did the job, just nothing really stood out to me. Also, I got transferred around when I tried to get help, which was annoying and made the whole experience feel less smooth than it should’ve been.

Went to Sydney Zoo last weekend it was damn good. The enclosures were super clean and spacious, not all cramped and sad-looking like some older zoos can be. The animals seemed really chilled, with heaps of room to wander around or duck away if they wanted a bit of privacy. You could still get a good look at them without feeling like you were right up in their space, which was nice. The paths were easy to get around too, and the whole place felt really well looked after. I’d definitely go back, especially for the big cats and the reptile area, those were awesome

Their areas were clean, there was plenty of shade, and I noticed staff checking in on them more than once. The animals seemed calm and healthy, not stressed or restless. Overall, it was just a really nice zoo experience.
